This is the reservoir in my old hometown of Redding. I used to love driving by it when I was younger, and was happy to drive by it this past weekend. Nature, I miss you sometimes.

This weekend I got to spend some time with my niece and nephew while in Connecticut for the aforementioned wedding. Olivia and Xavier are the cutest:
I also took a few minutes to flip through my baby book. Decades upon decades ago, I was also a cute baby!
A Wedding 07.04.2009
Jenna and Chris got married today, and it was probably the most fun, beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended. The space was right next to the elementary school that I went to, in a field with a barn. Fireworks were going off all over the place once the sun set, sparklers were flickering everywhere, and it was all capped off with a nice Michael Jackson dance party in the barn.

I went to Connecticut to see my new nephew, Xavier, today. He’s only 3 days old! He was bathing in the sunlight for a bit…doesn’t it look comfortable?
