I thought this baby pigeon was done for and almost called 311 to see what I should do with an injured baby pigeon on my windowsill. He just sat there forever as it was getting dark, and I’ve never seen a pigeon in this particular courtyard area. But once the sun actually set I went to check on him and he was gone! Phew!
This weekend I got to spend some time with my niece and nephew while in Connecticut for the aforementioned wedding. Olivia and Xavier are the cutest:
I also took a few minutes to flip through my baby book. Decades upon decades ago, I was also a cute baby!
I got to hang out with Molly for the first time ever today! She told me of her big plans for Stereogum, and just has to have the restraint to take her hand out of her mouth for long enough to learn how to type. In the meantime, she told me to tell you all to listen to Bitte Orca, which she declared to be the best album she’s heard in her lifetime.
I went to Connecticut to see my new nephew, Xavier, today. He’s only 3 days old! He was bathing in the sunlight for a bit…doesn’t it look comfortable?
